My usual workout involves a trip to my  Gym accompanied with a dose of Pilates all in one day and often feel energised at the end of the session, with the help from drinking at least 1 litre of water at intervals. But I Couldn’t quite stick to my routine during the festive season.

So, it was a bit of a struggle returning my Gym and Pilates after the Christmas break. It took at least a week for me to get back to my ritual, but having said that, I went for a few short walks during my Christmas break, so don’t feel too guilty.

Must say, it is not always an easy decision to get back into the routine but once I was there, I was ready to go.

Started with a warm up, then went on to a few cardio exercises, like the trreadmill, cross trainer and the upright exercise bike. Lifted few weights, then on to a few cool down stretches. After having a break for a few minutes, I was ready for Pilates for an hour. Post Christmas, it wasn’t too difficult to get back on track after all.

Thankfully, I am now back-on track for 2014.
