Travelling on the Tube is no doubt one of the quickest ways to get around London. But on numerous occasions, I’ve been distracted by the display of quotes at some stations which have somewhat made my journeys slightly slower. It’s not just quotes that are dotted around the underground you know. If you happen to be rushing around like a headless chicken, you could miss some valid history. Haha! Tottenham Court Road has a couple of facts on display where the ticket office once stood before it became a partially self-service station.

I absolutely love Oval underground tube station and I am such a quote hoarder. My Iphone photos are full of various quotes. It is also very lovely that they have a mini library.
